Is it still on the original generator or have you converted it to an alternator? If the latter is the case, your alternator is probably giving up the ghost. Otherwise, check your ground wire from the battery to the block or just replace it if it is already old and stiff.

have you rechecked the grounds on your dash?? also the head light grounding. make sure that both have ground wires equal to the size on the feed wire.

Sounds like a ground problem. Check that all the ground wires are clean a attached properly.Make sure to scrape the paint where they attach.

Let me get this straight, do the lights flicker only when the car is running? If so, at idle only or at idle and then brighten when the rpms increase? Also what else is on when this is happening, ie, fan, radio/amp, etc..?

disconnect the brake switch and try it . sounds like somehow you are getting a direct short in the light system.
i believe i would go back to the folks that wired it and demand they fix it.

I had the same problem on my lights. Davey might be right make sure you're ground is clean. Where my ground was I sanded and thin the paint out a little more and it was fine. But yours might be totally different. Or even a short like Shine say's.

TRY RUNNING A GROUND STRAP FROM FRAME TO THE BODY AND ALSO FROM THE ENGINE TO THE FRAME. THAT MIGHT NOT BE THE PROBLEM BUT IT SHOULD BE DONE.
