I've been reading about the flooding in Iowa and I hope everyone from that atrea is safe and water free. I believe there are a few fellows on Streetrodding .com that live in that state. Let us know how you are... CR

no matter where or what theres always a few from this site to worry about. all we can do is hope and prey they are ok. we can always replace things.

I read your post the other day about having 50 inches of water in your home ! Almost unthinkable. What was that from?....CR

we lived on the lake then. 52 in in the houes and 47 in the shop. lake came up and covered ou who lot. shop had 4 ft of water in it. there are pics of it here someplace.

The first is taken at the pumping station parked looking up at my wife. Thesecond is showing how close the water is to the top of the levi. My truck would be 15to18feet under water. the third is the marker at 4:00 this afternoon. It is supposed to crest around 29feet.

I hope everything works out for all of you guys. Nothing worse than water damage because you are basically helpless against it.......CR

That leak doesn't look too good. Appears the attempts to pack the material may have failed or are failing. I know everyone hopes it holds, but if there is supposed to be another two feet of water come down stream it doesn't look too favorable. Hope you got out of there before it turned loose.
