Just talked to the gurus at CE and they basically don't recommend using their kit for ragtops. Can't find anyone who has used this kit on a ragtop that has any advice either way. They really couldn't offer any suggestions as to what to do. so I am asking you experts what is the most cost effective way to go. Really getting tired of this. Thanks.

I don't understand, what is difference in rear suspension in a ragtop & a coupe-sedan-four door? I know about the "X" in ragtops chassis & all that stuff, but rear suspension?

They told me the car is too heavy, has floor pan issues, the weight of the car causes shock travel problem, shock bar installation is a problem. Jim said they don't recommend using it. Every time they sell it the customer complains about the installation and rideability.

I guess I was hoping for some other explanation or some other recommendation as to how to make car ride better using their stuff. I asked since they make suspension products--what to do and he had no answer.

I'm wondering why they don't recommend it for converts. Maybe the extra weight? Seems like a small obstacle to overcome, but I'm with Shine on this one.

Ok--first off there is no spring shop within 100 miles of where I live. I have a mish mosh of parts that make up my suspension. I am trying to correct this. That is why I wanted to put the kit on. I have a Nova rear wiht Nova erches in the stock location with the stock 1 3/4 inch springs, 67 Camaro monoleaf shock plates, springs moved inboard to fit the spring perches. Innovative to a degreee 15 years ago but not conducive to a great ride. I just want the stuff to match and ride well. THANKS
