Wow,Check this out. Had my 71 Nova for sale, had been for a couple of months now. With so many cars on the market right now, NOBODY had even called......until the other day, a fella e-mailed me and was wondering if I was going to the car show in Truro Nova Scotia because he would like to see my car. So I figured it's only 3 hours away from here ,why not. So the old lady and I were about 2 minutes from pulling out of the driveway to go to Truro when she looked out the window and said Hey Honey, There's two guys in the driveway looking at your car. He looked 'er up and down and within about five minutes He bought 'er. No haggle No test drive, in fact the guy hasn't even heard it Run yet but he's forkin' over 15 grand on Monday!! YIPPEE!! Now I can cheap out on a heating system for my house and use the CHANGE for a HOT ROD. Probably not much of one at first, cause the budget's a little small, BUT IT"S A START!!! YIPPEE YEA YAHOO! .........................Oh sorry honey, no change for YOU this time!!!!!

Congratulations Russ, is that a Canadian Pontiac or US.........The Canadian ones have Chev engines and the front fenders are about 4" shorter.Either way they make great rides.

Had a 54 Pontiac 2door post years ago, straight 8, 3speed, rolled and pleated interior, rear heat, 12 volt conversion. Great road car and never got stuck in the snow. Good luck

Well, Yesterday was a bomb. didn't get to see the Pontiac yesterday but got things straightened out so I can view it tonight. Apparently, she's a Canadian built car but is not in totally original condition. It has a 305 cu.in. SBC engine, Automatic transmission and comes with some rear quarterpanel damage. (was hit in the yard,he says! Ya right, probably happened on a hot saturday night while doin' DOUGHNUTS in the Malls back lot somewhere!) Oh well, She's a sweetie!! I picture myself driving it home already!!! I've got one pic to share, what do YOU guys think. Not too bad if I can pick 'er up for eight grand. He's asking 8600.

Whatcha got there is a 54 chevy with sum Pontiac trim thrown on by the Canucks. How bad is the damage on the 1/4, and any rust issues? 8600 seem a liitle high to me for it.

More in the 6 -7 K bracket.

Good luck.

That is just the way they built the Pontiacs in Canada..no fin and different trim etc.

From what He's told me so far about the car is that the frame and floors are excellent , the car is very straight with no Rust issues, It has a new interior and carpeting, Ralley wheels w/ brand new rubber, a small block chevy engine that runs very good w/ new dual exhaust ( which they didn't line up real well at the back, the exhaust tips are uneven with the bumperettes and it looks funny, Minor shit) but overall from what I can see so far, it looks pretty good. the right rear damage will take about 1500 bucks to fix (he says about 700, ya, at Joes lobstershack and auto body emporium) Not to worry though, tonight I'll be all over that thing like white on rice. Does anyone suggest certain things I should keep an eye out for? (other than the obvious/regular stuff to check out) Thanks for all your input, Wish me luck!
