I have been trying to get this motor built and keep running into snags. First i spent 2 days calling around trying to get the torque specs on the arp bolts im using and it all depends on what kind of assembly lube your using. Got all that ,Ive got crank installed and was going to install #1 piston till i was looking at the powdered rods im using and couldnt tell which side goes toward crand throws. Im using .125 dome pistons and all the rods are put on the same direction which doesnt seem right to me. On stock rods you have a side that goes toward the outside of the crank and the sides of the rods that go toward each other ,but ive never seen anything like this...just my luck. Anyone know what the heck im doing here lol... the rods do have a chamfered side on one side and i would assume thats the side that goes up against crank. If thats the case then the machine shop f ed up on assembly. Thanks if you can help.

Usually on the cap side of the rod there is a lip or tab , and that goes on the outside of the crank. It picks up oil. Ken

These are gm powerdered rods that they used on corvettes, dont have the normal looking anything to em. I was talking to an engine builder tonight about em since he has used them before and he said the champhere really doesnt matter as long as the rod bearing tang slots are on the side of the piston that the dome is on since im using a domed piston. Im not sure about this but thats what he said and thats how the other machine shop put em on so im going to assemble and see...hope for the best. If it doesnt look right ill just use the stock rods i have and put in some arp rod bolts lol...Thanks for input below is a picture of the rod and piston im talking about
