What is the best material to clean my LS-1 engine. I do not want to paint it, but I might have to.

eagle brand wheel cleaner for non clear coated wheels works well.

Bear, I was expecting you to say "Windex". You use it for everything else. haha


I am assembling the powder coated chassis now. The engine & trans will not be far behind.

Shout! It's made to disolve grease and dirt yet does not harm the rubber, plastic or leave stains. Been using it for years.
