hi all....have a small block chevy,with a tunnel ram...with disc/drum....looking to go with power brakes,but dont really know were to begin....my tunnel ram doesnt have a vac port,and i herd about external pumps..(little.$$$)..can i get by with manual??...and what kind of master cyl (yr) would work?..for disc/drum combo..56 chevy..would like to run power,but...with the fender well headers,dont know about the room..and the manifold doesnt have a port,or can i drill one out??..weiland ram..tks in advance..WHATS UP..OL'BEAR??..lol

run off the carb

Like Shine said, youcan run it off of the carb. I have a Tunnel Ram on a small block also, I run mine from the rear of the back holley.

Try it off the carb, if it is not enough vacuum at an idle build a reservoir can or check out Summit racing for an electric vacuum set up.

Like shine says run off the carb But if ya have to much cam lobe then you'll have to run a electric pump that you can get from Vintage Air or go to a wrecking yard and get one off of a diesel car or some trucks had them too.
