Robert -- DavyJ Between myself and Victoria, we've talked Eric into runnin the Tudor as a Hi-Boy fer a while. Gotta build a firewall, set-up the steering, throttle linkage, bleed the brakes, set chassis dimensions, wire and fire. Shouldn't take but a few days and he'll B a drivin.
Man I'm so excited to get down to Prescott! If we finish up early maybe I'll even help Don out on the new roadster! Of course, I'd probably end up putting him behind schedule!
Seriously though, what a GREAT friend Don is to offer his help, his shop, and his EXPERIENCE! Don, thanks again! And again! And AGAIN! See you in just a few more days!
So, does that mean you're gona bring your Tudor to the LARS on June 14/15? It would sure look good sittin in my driveway next to Don's "blue-black" roadster. If you guys bring your cars, we'll try to not get BBQ sauce on them! LOL Mine won't be runnin, but at least its all shiny now.
Don, just curious- how much prep time/ hours does just the basic Roadster body package take you to get it ready for primer? Are you hittin the whole thing and then using a high build primer on it, or are you sealing it first? I was just wondering how straight those bodies are coming from the factory. I'm a fairly good body man, but speed is not my specialty.
