OK Dumb question No.487. When assembling my fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump then on to the carburator, should I use anything to seal the threaded fittings?

but if it leaks use taflon tape make sure on threads only.

I was able to buy everything to length with double flares and fittings.....only had to make a couple of bends..... no leaks....

gas will melt teflon tape. there is no sealer i am aware of for fuel. that is why it is a flare fitting or o-ring or a brass pipe fitting..
