New truck

Well i finally gave up my 2.4 s10 i got my 10 years out or it but it was starting to have costly repairs @325000 miles, i originally wanted a HHR my wife did not like them ,she says they are cute?so i looked at aSILVERRADO standard cab short wheel base WT, my wife did not like it either it was not roomy enough by her standards so i looked at the extd cab 4dr WT it was too basic, so then we looked at the ones with power windows power door /keyless entry mind you they come as a package so you get extras, after some research and emailing for some qoutes i finally made the trip with my wife, at first she wanted me to go by my self then she changed her mind ,i know better ,MPG is my priorty so we so i met my internet salesman who turned me over to his asistant salesman they already had the truck picked out for me color was not important it was the price so what they picked out my wife did not like so we finally saw what we liked surprisingly the 5.3 gets better mpg then the 4.8 the 5.3 has a fuel management that increases the mpg so we chose a black ext 4dr stnd bed with 20" machined wheels it is a LT "ALL STAR" package, i drove it a week put 232 mi. and still have a half tank yet it holds 34gal.s my s-10 with same mil.s would have the low fuel on by now at this point the truck is costing me the same as the s10 in gas if i fill the tank up every half tank to ease the pain at the pump ,this truck weighs in @ 6350lbs.,the extra room, bigger truck. i can tow my street rod too. free Onstar for a year,i got it for 25454.out door so far its a good deal. |
