Hold on to yer seats for this 1. Left yesterday morning (6am) to take the tan roadster to the Pomona swap meet to try and sell. Got 50miles away and the cell phone ring---Aguy wants to buy it if I'd deliver it right away. SURE I spin around, back up the mountian, go back home, grab the bride and off we go (345miles) to Mesquitw Nevada. Get there 5 1/2 hrs later- Unload do the deal (1hr) and Banzai home-790 miles 12 1/2 hrs of drivin ( $300 worth of diesel) and I'm home. At 7a.m. this morning, the guy calls and says - I found a picture of an Orange Coupe in the trunk, do you know who owns that car? I tell him I do. Hey asks --Is it for sale? Yep -I say How much? he says I tell him He says--- Would U bring it up and take the roadster back and I'll pay ya the differance and pay ya for your fuel and time. So you can guess what I'm doin tuesday.Although instead of comin back home Hell I'm gonna take the Roadster to NSRA Bakersfield and have a little more fun with it. just a 600 mile side trip.

If I can work out the timing in the next several weeks I'm going to take a week off work. Don's offered to help me get it on the road! I have a LOT going on at work, and we're heading to Missouri mid-May, so I'll have to plan it very carefully, but I think I can swing it! Del Mar 2009? Oh yeah baby! Maybe the Rod-N-Custom Bonneville trip in August this year even! Of course I'll be minus interior for a while but I'm okay with that! Thursday morn hooked up with sumore of the Bako gang and did sum putin around then registered and went to the FREE BBQ. Great food and lot's of it. Friday, got into the fairgrounds early( Great to know sum of the locals and B able to go in the back door) More great food friday night and sum more Kruzin around, weather was PERFECT ROADSTER WEATHER. Sat am back to the back door and in early Now the HILIGHT of the story S O L D Scutterbotch Roadster Sat afternoon. Sweet deal, He had CASH !!!!!!!! Had to drag an empty trailer home--- Oh well !!!! I guess it's time too start buildin a couple more. I really like the grey, Very sinple and understated. We both have good taste, but no money. Maybe if I sell my roadster??????????????????????? You never know.
