He will still be involved with the company, all of the employees will stay, but will be under new ownership. Ron Francis Wiring is now owned by the Detail Zone, a company that is owned by Scott Bowers, who isa former employee of Ron Francis and a long time friend and business associate. The Detail Zone manufactures fuel injection harnesses. Ron Francis will stay on as a developer of wiring systems and Connie Francis will remain as VP. Although ownership has changed, everything will remain the same for both companies. Good deal, Ron gets to stay and play and get paid for having fun. It sounds like a fun deal and I think it would be a natural for someone with my background, but I think their franchise costs (initial and ongoing) is very high for what I'd get out of it. On the surface, it didn't seem to pencil out very well...at least for me. I did however, like what they were doing and the product that they delivered.
