Hello all,

Got out to Charlotte on a very cool damp Thursday. Hi again Red. Picked up a few small items and saw a few cars. Vehicles and vendors everywhere and more rolled in the entire time my wife and I were there. Here are a few photos of the Merc now. It came apart real easy, but putting it back seems oh so slow! Can't keep up with the pros on here but here they are.

That is body filler over the patch panel. When we took the door off there was a large chunk of fiberglass that fell out. There is steel under it. Couldn't get the picture of the repair off the memory card. ol bear, I did have some rot in the floor panels on the drivers side.

Thanks Tony.

Found another pic of the windshield, the frame has been molded in and is in need of some repair. Thanks for the comments.

just a heads up. that is a bad place for bondo. it will suck up water like a sponge and create a rust hotel in no time. duroglass would be much safer to use.

Thanks Shine, is duroglass a brand name fiberglass? I also noticed there is not a drain hole (don't know if this is the correct term or not) there in the door. Should there be a hole there to drain any collected water? Really don't want to have to redo this any earlier than I have to, so I will look into the duroglass.

made by dynaron bondo corp. it is fiberglass and is much better to use. yes there are suppose to be several drains in the bottom. i blast the inside bottom and try to get it good and covered with epoxy.
