Yes, that was a steal, but I think you have to be a fool to sell a rod at B-J....wrong crowd. The real steal was the Orange County Chopper for 24M. What do they cost new? At least 100-150, I'd think.

Stealing is RIGHT. There was a beautiful '32 (?) Bright Yellow, Ford Vicky W/ a removeable hardtop, done up 350 chevy engine, just as clean underneath as the topside........just a really nice hot rod, and it went for $ 29,000. I'm sure the engine and frame was worth at least that by itself!!! And did anyone see the 48 Chevy--untouched/unrestored and w/ only 20 sum thousand miles on 'er go for around 25,000? WOW, What a steal that was!

same trend as the last 4 years. streetrods just dont do well with the collectors. glass cars just hang at 30 to 40 if your lucky. this year it looks like 30k in palm beach. but all the prices are lower there. not a good place to sell. prices in Arizona are much better.
dont poke the porchdog........he bites

Don't forget there is a 10% cost to buyer added on to sale. Every one thinks the rod they own is worth alot, but it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. That is why people sell cars at BJ.
