BUDDY HAS H B ON HIS 51 MERC ITS ON A MONTE CARLO CHASSIS 81/86 HE GOT A LEAK IN PRESSURE LINE RAN IT DRY REPLACED BOTH HI PRESSURE LINES FINALLY GOT THE SEYSTEM BLEED {HARD TO DO} ALL THIS TIME FRONT BRAKES LOCKED UP BLEED BRAKES TILL I TURNED BLUE IN THE FACE FINALLY GOT THAT. COULD NOT GET ANY REAR BRAKES ,YEA U GUESSED IT NEVER BEEN ADJUSTED STILL BRAND NEW WELL ADJUSTED THEM GOT BRAKES ON ALL 4 CORNERS . BUT IT SEEM AS THOUGH IT ONLY HAS VERY LITTLE POWER ASSIST NO AIR IN SYSTEM GETTING FLUID TO HB . GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS.

It's been awhile but you might check the push rod from the pedal to the booster and the check the booster to master cylinder. My experience has been on Chevy pickups with this system. You could check a Chevy service or Haynes manual for late 70's early 80's for trouble shooting.
