My truck is going to be red. Interior will probably be black. Engine & trans will probably be silver. I am not sure what color to do the chassis in. Give me your ideas. I am thinking black with a few parts red, like the 4 bars & springs. This WILL be a driver also!!!

i'm with Dave, the chassis looks best in the body color. some small accents, little chrome or black maybe?

Instead of Painting it, would a powder coat not be more durable? As far as color goes , I'm like Motomatt383 and DH , I like the same color Idea. Although for some reason GUN METAL GRAY with some color accents of some smaller parts ,is just SCREAMING out at me. OR you could go totally radical and go with a Canary Yellow!! What do you think???

Not friendly to paint either, but paint is easier to touch up

I have been told dot 5 will not eat paint or powder coating. Is this correct?

I had dot 5 in my Harley for years, never hurt the paint, although the frame was urethane. With the silicone in dot 5, do not mix it with any other brake fluid.

oh yeah, do the frame the same color as the body, with the chrome color powder coat for the accents.

I HAVE SEEN SOME FRAMES DIFFERENT THAN THE BODY THAT LOOKS GREAT, KILLER 57 DOWN HERE WITH A RED FRAME THAT LOOKS GREAT AN THE CAR IS DARK GRAY. I'M WITH U THINK IT WOULD LOOK GOOD SILVER NO RED ACCENTS. JUST MT 2 CENTS.

Just my opinion...I think the frame should always be the same color as the body.

My frame is the body color but I painted the underside of the floor silver. The silver makes a great background for the painted frame. I get tons of compliments on this one detail.
