i'm looking at replacing the trashed , stock twice rebuilt 2 bbl carb on the mustang project. the car is presently running a fairly stock 302 with headers & duals, stock c-4 auto, but has a fairly steep 3.73 rear. i'm leaning towards the holley street avenger 570 cfm. anybody have any experience with these ? opinions? any other recommendations as i haven't purchased a carb in about 10 yrs, so lots of new choices out there.

Steve

I used the 570cfm Holley S.A. on two of my crate 350 Chev motor's. Real Happy with the 1st one right out of the box . The second one felt like something was pulling on the back bumper (Surge) at highway speed. Rejetted it up one size primary and secondary's and it smoothed right out. Over the years I have used both Holley and Edelbrock carb's I recommend the highly Holley
