28 degees this morning. Took my coupe out for first time w/new 700R trans. Wow, I'm all smiles. When that shifted into OD the RPMs dropped as it should and everything got whisper quiet. I hope there's no "break-in period" cuz I gave that new lower first gear a real test!

Now I need to work on wind noise from around doors and vent glass. I've replaced all the rubbers/seals with OEM type but still have annoying noise. Any suggestion how to pin point the culprit?

New wheel color....Whatta-u-think?

Check the weather stripping to see if its making a seal, I use a dollar bill, need to be able to pull the dollar thru with some resistance.

Had red...looked great but time for a change. I was thinking of doing that tape deal and remove little at a time. Cant drag dollar thru at top but rear edge of door seems to be a problem. Also even with good quality rubbers the vent windows just dont seal correctly?

I put a 700R in my 46 last july, the 2 days before louisville. Wow what a difference. I am now getting about 18.6 mpg on the road. I usually run abou 65 mph. As for the wind noise in a rag top it just part of the ride. But I do have a good sound system...
