Just about any common flaring tool set will get the job done. A good flare is perhaps more in technique of using the tool than the tool itself. It's really easy to get a crack in the flare if one gets in too big a hurry or if the line material is crappy.

We have a nice tool from Snap-On that does flares. Bought it years ago. I can imagine they have an even nicer one now.

there's an ad in Street Rodder from Classic Tube www.classictube.com they show a whole kit for flares, double flares, fuel & oil lines etc. I haven't looked yet, but the kit looks interesting
