Rosina & I were fortunate to grow up in the 50s. June 1957, I turned 16. Got a 50 Chevy hardtop for $250. Ate a 15 cent burger at the first McDonalds in the Washington DC area. "Rock around the Clock" 45 cost 75 cents. Cherry Coke was 6 cents....penny more for the cherry syrup.
