After running through a few paint forums, I noticed alot of cons about the SPI products. Other than limited base colors, the product seems ok. I do wonder why they dont have a gallery of finished products from their customers to show the world. It would help to sell itself. The paint samples they sent me are small and very hard to tell actually what color you are getting. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this product first hand.

it is all i use. there is a gallery on their web site. year one has used it on several of their jobs. they do not cater to the repair industry thus limited colors.

barry's products are designed for the custom and restoration field. those who talk trash about it are usually wannabes who have been in pissing matches with him and lost. i have been in some of them and have a good idea what forums you are talking about. i use only spi now and it beats the others hands down.

Every time SPI is mentioned professionals like Shine cannot say enough about the great product they produce and that speaks volumes! Contact Barry at SPI, you won't be sorry you did. As for colors, I know he mentioned last time we spoke that more were on the way.

I'm with Shine on SPI-I'm using it on my build, and so far it has made this rookie feel like he can actually Paint! Barry has been totally awesome to work with, has never made me feel like a rookie, and the Epoxy sands so easily-I'm a customer for life-
