I am wanting to put a 1940 Ford Coupe body on a late model Corvette frame, and use the Corvette motor. Sine the wheelbase is different, what would be the easiest way to make the conversion?

Assuming the corvette wheel base is longer (over 112 inches)I'm guessing you would have to shorten that tunnel that acts as a spine for the chassis (and anything inside it....) it's all aluminum so you will need someone who knows how to weld aluminum....if the corvette wheelbase is shorter then you would have to reverse the process which means you would need an extra tunnel to take a piece from.... imho
