I thought that I knew it all , but..

I'm new to this site, but I'm really enjoying the forums. My question is how would you remove two layers of paint? One of them is imron.

You might want to give DuPont Imron® EZ-3466 or DuPont Imron® Graffiti Remover EZ-3463S a whirl. Supposedly either will take just about any paint from any surface.

once you start with chem strip your stuck with it. imo it just makes a big mess and causes problems in paint. media blasting will be much cheaper in the long run and you'll have a much cleaner job..

Ha....just removed 2 coats of orange Imron off a Edelbrock manifold yesterday. Formby's, formulated for polyurathane removal.

If fiberglass...jitterbug.

Have fun. Jim
