I found the temperature control (recently installed by my shop) for my radiator fan. The fan comes on at 170 degrees now, and I want to adjust it to turn on at 175, as it runs a fair amount after the car warms up (even in the winter) and the fan is pretty noisy. Do I turn the adjustment clockwise or counter-clockwise? I could experiment, but I would rather ask the knowledgeable guys here. I would guess clockwise, and that is really a guess. Thanks.

Don't forget to pull the stem out before you set it!

Hey guys -- many thanks for the info. You are a tremendous asset!

I will do a small adjust and take it out today for a spin. 51 degrees and sunny in NoVA -- nice day!

Jim,

Thank you. I bought it from Summers Car Co. in Eugene, Oregon. They sell most of their cars on eBay and that is where I saw this. The visit to OR was fun, but the cross-country shipping wasn't cheap as you know.

Where do you find your C2Cs? Mike Collins told me about your web site/business and I was looking there too.

best, Ken
