Has anyone seen advertisement or tech info on this minature lamp that clamps onto a mig torch to improve light on the work? I read about in a recent magazine article, now I can't locate. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!

i use a flood light on a stand. i've had it for years. i made it before the auto helmets came out. i believe miller sells the mini light and it is the same one used for blasting .

Just a thought, you might want to check out the bright LED lights that are made to affix to a rifle barrel. May be a lot cheaper than the welding supply guys and easily adaptable. I've always hated using spot lights as it seems I always manage to get something between the light and the work resulting in a problem with shadows exactly where I don't want or need them in tight places. I did get wise a couple of years ago and took a six element bright LED light that was made like a miner's light and mounted it on the old welding helmet. Works pretty well with the tilt feature the light unit has, but it isn't worth a flip if there is any amount of direct natural sunlight present.
