I know the guy who built the red 1909 limo, very nice guy. He has built several cars of the same caliber. It does run, just not much miles per gallon. Here is another one of his creations.
I got to see the guy start and load the "bar stool" into his trailer after the show. It was wild and fast, sounded great. He took off burning the tires and sliding sideways. Not sure what you would really ever get to do with it though.
That is the real beauty of this hobby, the only limit is your imagination and your wallet! I remember the 60's when Ed Roth, Gene Winfield, and Barris all were building these type of show vehicles that were truly amazing. They were an exercise in hot rod art. But there is still room to enjoy them.
Still driving the wife's car, cause I am slow.

Well everyone is intilited to his are her opinion. Personaly i didn't like the them back then & i sure don't now,i sure can't see any art in them of any sort. The limo looks good ? looks like something out of a comic book roadster is just an ego trip ,heck the coupe at the nationals blew up like that ,only one i know that runs half way is the 33 ambulance twin blower out of ga. are fl. Call it what u like but it sure not a streetrod
DIXIE ---- Sorry guys i just can't stand that dam show junk .
Now SHINE they ant been around any longer than streetrods they just weren't called streetrods back then they were called alot of different things but mostly cutdowns an hotrods just to name two.
Personaly, I like seeing an individuals creations, something new and different, even if it is something that I would never build for myself. If everyone had 32 roadsters this hobby would be real boring. I enjoy all cars, for the individuality that each person brings to their car. Whether its a 32 Ford or something more abscure. Don't judge them just because they are different. Enjoy the cars for the craftsmanship and design whether its your style of car or not.
