Posted by tlp1968  -  01/31/2008 09:46 PM Well I don't know! I put a updated discussion on a couple of days ago and now....gone! Here is the latest We have the opportunity to stay at the Hilton in downtown Springfield for 89.00 plus 10% occupancy tax which will include 1 complimentary parking pass. This is a newly remodeled hotel which will offer us the 5th floor parking level for our own private viewing of the fireworks on the 4th. (If we can get 20 rooms filled under our name) We can of course keep the Route 66 but the Hilton is nice because it is downtown and close to many sites and unique downtown shops. I simply need to get a head count now so we can determine who might want to stay at the Hilton and who wants the Route 66.
