I need a small remote condenser for my air conditioner. Any ideas on who has one? It needs to be no wider than 9". Length can be 20" - 30". Going on a 1930 A model truck.

Thanks, Lynn

You want to be careful there since the condenser is a very important part of A/C and to small will prevent it from working.

I had a remote on my other A model & it worked fine. I just don't have as much room on the truck with the ls1 & 6 speed.

Lynn, you have 3 choices: No, never, forget it. Contrary to Vintage Air's note on page 66 of 2007 catalog "Not recommended as a primary condenser", I did it 2 times for customers. Each customer had to sign a disclaimer before job started. When it did not cool properly, they had to pay for the same job a second time. On John's '37 Chevy, it was 3 times.....rear location, under right fender then finally where Detroit has put it since the 1948 Caddy...front of radiator.

Most model As got to a '32 shell/grille so the AC condenser can mount correctly.

Jim said it.

as long as the condenser has enough air flow location does not matter. if you can not run it in the front then build a panel in the front of the bed for it. i have done this and it worked fine. let me know if i can help.
