Hey Jerry,

Was running through the magazines at the book store yesterday and saw a photo of your Willys. Looking good! Happy for ya!

Tell your wife you are now one of the elite and at least should have one of those plastic spray gun helpers so you finger won't get tired.

Really - glad to see your ride...

dont laugh, on another site they would actually use it to paint their streetrod. i see some of the dumbest paint suggestions i've ever seen on there. my favorite is the " new and improved lacquer !! ". got to be true............ they saw it on tv !

Well Jerry,.....as most of you know, I'm terribly allergic to any type of body work. (Makes my brain hurt to even say those 2 words and when ever I'm around it, to ease the pain, I have to sit down and drink a beer) However, this spray gun might be one I can deal with. At least the clean-up will be a whole lot easier.

blksheep...I sit,......a lot....in Charlotte

Hey Jerry,

I have one just like it, but its orange. Make sure you are wearing a fresh air respirator with full facepiece when you are painting with it. They are very dangerous !

As unlikely as it sounds, I once met a fellow who could paint a car with a BRUSH and get beautiful results. It seems that a lot of the secret was in a very fine brush and making the next stroke before the previous stroke started to dry. - I am not makiing this up! Bob R

Hey Jerry,

I got back to the newstand. Your car is on page 47 of the current American Rodder. Looking good.

(American Rodder just sold out in southern New Mexico 15 minutes after you read this.)

Ray,

Had to go to El Paso to find a copy!!! That was at the So-Cal grand opening in Pueblo, Co. (NSRA Rocky Mountain Nats) One of the best NSRA events I have been to. BBQ put on by the city Thur. Fri free food at So-Cal, Sat EVERYONE goes to the fairground for cruise, food and band. Guy at the carwash asked if I was in town for the event and then thanked me for coming!!!! Cruise thru the Rockys on the way home was good too.
