Well, with all the fabrication done and the body in the paint shop, I had some time on my hands over the holidays. I didn't wnat to start somethin big so I started cleaning up the Dan Fink 3-way hood opening mechanism. I painted the support bars black and sanded and polished all the other aluminum and stainless pieces then put it all back together again with chrome button heads. Turned out pretty cool looking. Also detailed my steering column drop with a Zebra wood insert to hide the wires coming out the top of the column. Can't wait for the body to get back so I can start puttin this stuff back together. Like I said "nothin but time" (6 years and counting).

Robert, great bit of detailing, those small things will all add up to a fantastic finish.
