hi-I need help!looking for the paint code for 1950 oldsmobile engine(green).I prefer PPG code but will try to work with whatever you can furnish.Thanks,Doodleo3

Try Eastwood, they make most of these colors in a spray can. I know it's not PPG, but you could always order a can then color match it.

Believe it or not KRYLON produces GM Alpine Green Engine paint, which should be correct for that Olds engine. I know it is correct for the non Ultra-High compression 1962 394 c.i. version of the same Olds block. If you can't find it at a local supplier near you try caswellplating.com

There is also another way to get where you want to go. If you spray the block with any high temp paint you can paint over that with any common spray can paint of the color you want and it will hold. Meaning the finish coat does not have to be high temp as it will adhere to the high temp paint and will not peel off from the engine's heat
