I finally got some pictures posted with the help of my 13 grandson. The 34 Ply. is my driver. Has been for 30 years. The Buick is my present project. I'm doing all the work myself. It's chopped 41/2 and channeled 31/2. I made it a hard top. I'm not a metal man, so I think it's coming pretty good. Early pictures were taken with film so I don't have them in the computer yet. I plan on posting some more later on. The grill will be Buick bumper gaurds that were reworked. I didn't have enough so I made a mould and made the rest out of fiberglass. It's going to run a 350 crate with a turbo 400. The rear is a 69 Sport Fury. The front is a MM2 I put on myself.

The whole car is a project to show that you don't need a lot of money to build a cool car. Maby it will bring more young people to sreetrodding. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Nice 34 Plymouth, is that a standard roof? Mine has a little more off the top....about 4 inches. ;-) The grill looks custom, did you make it?? Can't tell if the car is a Deluxe PE (114 inch wheelbase) or a Standard PF (108 inch wheel base). Hood gives it away, but yours is hoodless, which makes it nearly impossible to tell. In any case I really like the yellow paint. Mine is maroon, which is nice, but I've always thought yellow would be nicer.

Thanks. I did add some bracing to the body on the striker side of the body. It goes from the top by the window to the floor, slowly extending out. I'll take a picture.

The bike is 72 Columbia.

The Ply. is a PE. It is not chopped but will be at the next paint job. The grill is a 34 Hudson Terriplane. It was longer than the stock grill and wasn't that hard to mate up. I did it 30 years ogo when I was dumber than now, if thats possible!!! It has always been yellow, just diffent shades. I think maroon is a great color for that style car. If my wife had her way mine would be to.

Here are some pictures of the bracing. I don't know how other people do it but this makes sense to me. It makes it real ridgid.
