This 1962 thunderbird will have a complete face lift. The owner wants it white. Its has a orginal 390 ci and runs like a clock. But the only thing Im thinking about doing is putting in a little checker flag waving on the side of the hood scoop. Just to break up the white a little bit. tell me what you think of the idea

A very thin touch of gold tailored along the character lines of the car would work, larger than a pin stripe, smaller than scallops. You could work the crossed flags into the trim line of the scoop.
