 Say What...

well, i finally have my truck at the house, it has just been color sanded , buffed and waxed. here are a couple of pics. I am getting closer to having Shine look at the fit of the 1 piece glass, i am not 100% happy with the fitment, oh well...... I have AR Hopsters on order, 20 x 10 for the rear and 18 x 8 for the front. I am also thinking of putting airride shockwaves on the front , and doing something to get the back down, may have to hit shine and leon up to see how they setup the rear ends on the copper colored trucks.

i just flipped the rear shackles and put the rearend on top of the springs. works on any of the early trucks. the 1 piece windows are a pia . the window has to float .

Thanks Shine... so you left the original leafsprings in tack without removing any. I believe i am missing two on each side and when i get on it, the back of the truck bounces all over the place, not sure if this is related to the missing springs or just the lack of weight on the rear.

bad shocks or they are bottoming out. orig springs are above the shackle mount. cut a slot in the shackle mount so the shackle has room to move. this puts the spring below the mount and raises the truck. put the rear end housing on top of the spring to lower it back down. you can see how it was done in builders corner.
