It was 80 degree's here in Austin yesterday and today only in the mid 40's, talk about a roller coaster ride. The City Of Austin sent a large electrical crew to Oklahoma yesterday to help them restore power---they got hit hard.
Ice and cold, Ice and cold, cold, cold, cold....that is life in the midwest. Red all I can say is "Stop Rubbing it In!!!" LOL I spoke to John with Master Power Brakes yesterday and he told me how nice it was in North Carolina, but if we all moved what would we have to complain about?

I know Y'all up north and out west are payin the Piper and I really do feel for you.
But,............80 degrees again today in Charlotte, however,.......we have a real draught problem, with some towns down to a 2 or 3 week water supply.
How bout sending us a couple days worth of showers and we will try to send you some sunshine???
To all of you enjoying the 70-80 degree temps, I envy you. We have 1/2" of ice on everything. I lost part of a great old maple tree that my wife and I planted about 30 years ago and power has been out all around us. Trying to deer hunt is almost impossible. It sounds like walking on bags of potato chips going into the timber. Might as well send the deer a message that we are coming. Oh well, life is still good and my family is healthy. Maybe I should put the shotgun away and work on the truck. I hope everyone is ready for Christmas and New Years. Don't forget the reason for the season. God bless you all.
