stepped out the door monday morning and stuck my foot in something a dog left behind and didn't notice until I had gotten to the shop. thaught I stepped in it at the shop parking lot, then I thought I had the red mustang fixed until I drove it found I had installed a bad sending unit, had to drain the tank and start all over, One of the drawbacks to a drought is that if you have a basement in your house everything will settle and cracks will form and walls will lean. Had that happen you don't want to know what that is costing, but tuesday they started dumpster on site, blocks, cement and an excavater. I finished the red mustang in the shop and got home around 5, had a man move the heat pump out of the way so the people could dig and we could still have heat, also showed the people where the well pump line came into house. well the heat pump quit and they found the line and wire for the well. Turned the tank over in the garage wet the whole place, spent until 9 trying to put it back together but couldn't. Now no heat or water for the evening. Wed everything going ok for now painted a few pieces for some people got dirt in them but ok I can fix. Got heat pump fixed, and the well paid for both. Thurs good day no;thing happened. Today got home and what do I find that hole in my house basement, house is 30 years old and when it was built they didn't have to put anything in the block and they didn't., Wall had gotten so far out of shape removal was the only answer, now they are filling the remaining block with cement and the masons don't work on sat. their religion so now they will be back on sunday. Hope they got it all fixed by next tuesday can't take much more. But at least I am still alive and business is doing good. |
