We need a couple of decent rear fenders for a '37 Ford project and I'm not having much luck. I know there are a lot of bone yards accross the country that specialize in old iron but don't know where to look. Google search hasn't come up with much. Any suggestions?

Check out Hemmings Motor News - available at large newsstands like Barnes and Noble. I see ads from junkyards of old stuff. I remember one in Montana that was huge.

Thanks for the leads but I guess these are few and far between. No luck so far but we'll keep looking.

Hey, Brady......you must have missed my previous post on "junk yards".....so here goes......
I have spent 66 years here in Washington DC. About 40 years ago, there was this uglier than ugly lady in the White House. She figued if she could beautify America, she would become beautiful. So, she asked Lyndon to pass a law: any car in a junk yard over 20 years old must be crushed or pay a $450 fee to remain. She also had a lighted underwater fountain installed at the end of Hains Point in the Potomac River. Well, the fountain died in about 10 months. Junk yards died. Lady Bird died last year even more uglier than Aunt Ester.

Dave aka blksheep. Not big on politics...too many relatives do that stuff. I have cursed the ugly b---h Lady Bird ever since she closed down all the old junk yards here in the East. I witnessed auctions and crushers in action.....sad. None of the property can be developed now because EPA sez the ground is soaked with oil. Go figure.
