Anybody goin to the Grand National Roadster Show in January? It's January 25 thru 27 at the L.A. county Fairgrounds. Looks like it'll be even bigger than last year and that was a great show (both indoor and outdoor).

Two of the kids will be coming with us as well. A 12 yr old boy and a 14 yr old girl. They said they could tolerate three days of cars just to get out of town. They think it's going to be hot and sunny. LOL!!! Looks like partly cloudy and 50's.... I checked out that Ron. His last name is spelled Pratte. He's a contractor. Caprices dad has a cool '37 Lincoln Zephyr we may be taking. It has newer running gear and a 305/ 700R4. (He looks like Dale Earnhart.) If any of you have the old movie "Hometown USA" , Look for a white late 20's roadster in some of the hot rod cruising scenes. That's him!! Things could change or it may just spit a bit like it did today. We had a blast checking out all the cars. It was nice to meet some of the guys from here. I'm glad we went on Friday. There weren't that many people there. We were told Sat was going to be crowded so we stayed till they closed. We got to visit with Chip Foose,....Caprices Idol!!! , and meet John Milner (from American Grafitti) Man that guy looks tired!! He looked like he didn't want to be there. There wasn't any "twinkle" in his eye and he kept looking around as we introduced ourselves. It was truly sad!! Our intention was to come back Saturday then hop on over to 29Roberts for a get together. Our quick trip to Venice Beach, and the Pier in the morning turned into an all day event due to the unexpected clear skies and warm weather.
