Street rod vin verification? or daily driver safety inspection which Florida does not have.

If it is a fresh '32 Ford roadster for $500, just do it. But you are considering $35 K, right? So choke up the $500 for air fare and kiss the hood.

Ken, I have to agree with Jim. I made that mistake ONCE. Spent 3000 trying to fix the car the first week I got it. BUT, if it is near where Leon will be, he is top notch. I would trust him to inspect the car.

Dont know whos car or kind of car but I will say there are a lot of nice rods in Spring Hill area.There are rod builder and rod trim shop in that area.

KEN: I'LL BE IN THE AREA ON SUNDAY (SWAPMEET, SUMPTER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS). HOOK ME UP WITH THE SELLER AND IF I CAN ARRANGE A MEET, I'LL TAKE A LOOK. NEED TO KNOW YOUR CONCERNS, I NEVER SAW AN OLD CAR I DIDN'T LIKE. I'VE ALWAYS FELT NONE OF THEM ARE PERFECT, BUT IF THEY LOOK RIGHT AND ARE BUILT WITH STUFF I FAVOR, I CAN FIX MOST MINOR PROBLEMS. FLORIDA CARS CAN HAVE RUST PROBLEMS, SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.

Ken........I just sent your link to an old friend in Florida, Steve Heller. I met him about 30 years ago at the Turkey Rod Run, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Steve knows street rods. He is a straight shooter. You can depend on his feedback.

Hi guys , appriciate all the offers to help. So far Dixie ( Jim ) is meeting up with owner tomorrrow, I will let you all know how it goes or if I need a second opion. ThanksKen The car is the one in this site 38 Ford.
