spark plugs for ZZ4?

I recently bought a street rod with a ZZ4. I pulled one plug and it was an Autolite 104, much to my surprise. What plug is best for this engine? AC Delco, Champion? or whatever I try and works well?

The rod is a all new 4-year-old build with less than 1,000 miles, so I believe these are the original plugs. Why would a builder put Autolite plugs in a ZZ4? (other than they are cheap plugs.)

thank you, Ken

Mark,

I see you found the thread and bumped it to be current. Thanks a lot.

I did do a search for "ZZ4 spark plug" and found many threads and read them. I didn't find the one you bumped (don't know why, I should have), so thanks for bumping.

I see there are a few guys who like AC Delco in GM engines. Makes sense. And several NGK fans, too!

Ken
