I just purchased a Borg Warner T10 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter from a neighbor. He stated that he had a shop pull the side cover and all of the internal components were fine. I am trying to identify the unit. I know that obviously it could have been modified at some point but would like to know what the original unit was even if it has been modified. The number on the main case is 1304 065 903. It has date stampings on the main case and on the tail section implying that it was built in September of1980 and was put in a Pontiac. The input shaft has 26 splines with 6 rings on the input shaft. I have looked at numerous web sites and can not find the info that tells me what it is. Does anyone have any idea what I have?

Thanks
