OK guys I need help. Building a 1932 3-window with a small block chevy motor and a 671 blower. Looking for some brackets to mount alt. and air compressor. The problem I am having is the heads only have one hole on the right head but 3 holes on the left head. Talked to zoops and they say I need two holes on each side. I dont think the head on the right side has enough meat on it to drill and tap another hole. The motor is a 350 chevy crate. Chevy says it a 1986 and early motor. I know I have seen alot of 32's out there with this set up but I'm not having any luck. Of coursh when I seen them I didnt look that close as to how things really fit. Called zoop, march, street and preformance without any luck. So I need help from you guys. Some one out there must have this set up.Thanks

drill thru and tap. just use sealant. no different than any other bolt that goes into water jacket. zoops vibrate too much for me.

When I did the 39 brackets I had to drill and tap the head. I wasn't to thrilled about doing it, but oh well. Now that's it done I wouldn't have any issues of doing it again. Kind of like the second time is easier in anything you do.

Can you put the alternator down low by the oil pan, thats my current setup. Still leaves the other head for AC.

I have drilled heads also, use a good Hi temp RTV sealant, and no problems. Just look real good where you are going to drill. hit a water jacket. I have drilled 350 heads for 400 motors, first time is the scariest, but that is alot different than just an accessory hole you need the right angles in exactly the right spots.

Alan Grove Components Inc. may have the brackets you need. check out www.alangrovecomponents.com or call 913-837-4368. I am running electric fuel pump, so I mounted A/C bracket off fuel pump boss. make my own alternator bracket from parts from Speedway. My heads have no holes. I have had no problems and we run from Wisconsin to Georgia each fall.

Those are 1970 or later heads, Bill's Hot Rod Company has just what you need. Plain/Chrome or Black powder coat. If you need any help give me a call or email me and we can go over any details. Their very nice brackets. I have a picture of a sbc with a set on it somewhere, If I can find it I'll post it.

As for Alan Groves, I could be wrong, but I don't think he has a set that will work with the Blower, but that will depend on the position of the top Radiator hose.
