I want to take this time to say Thank You to all the veterans past and present. And a special Big Thank You to all the vietnam vets. Since you didn't get the recognition you deserve. THANK YOU.

To all the servicemen/women that are serving now. May they come home safe and sound.

To all the families that have lost a member of their family or have a love one serving. And fought or fighting for our freedom. Thank You.

We get busy in our daily lives and take our freedom for granted.

You may or may not agree with the war. But remember our veterans and servicemen/women. They put or putting their lives on the line for us.

Take the time and shake a Vets hand today and tell them thank you.

I also would like to add my thanks. Without them we would not be able to enjoy what we have. Remember them daily, not on just special days.

At the Goodguys show this weekend in Pleasanton, they had great tribute to our war heros. The host club, the PTown Pushrods, hosted a veteran day activity that included a BBQ lunch and Marine honor guard ceremomy at the GoodGuys event. The Pushrods had several war veterans, from Viet Nam to Iraq and Afganistan transported in for a day of hot rods, music, and brotherhood. Most were in wheel chairs and disabled from their injuries, but they really appreciated an outing like this. They were publically honored by cheers from hundreds of hot rodders and believe me, there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd. Believe me, it was a heartwarming experience.

As a Viet Nam vet I appreciate the thanks and add my thank you to all the men and women who have served and are serving our great country. It was not a big thing for me,but not everyone came home unscarred and some gave the ultimate sacrifice and the families of all who serve deserve a big thank you also. As the saying goes, " all gave some, some gave all". We in America are so fortunate to live in a country where we are free to live pretty much as we choose without fear of government intrusion into our daily lives. I thank God He chose to put me here. Good night to all you great people who I consider friends even though we have never met.

Thanks to all who have or are serving... My dad was in the USAF in Vietnam... I had 2 uncles that went ashore at Normandy and lived to tell about it, although they wouldn't talk about... this country wouldn't be what it is without these brave men... God Bless all of them...

If you see a Vet today, go over to him and shake his hand or pat him on the back or buy him a cup of coffee or just say "thank you". Anything to let all our Vets, past and present, know we support them. Take a minute to put up your American Flag for the day. If you have the day off work today, enjoy it, but remember why. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Thank you. I served with 101st Abn Div. Viet-Nam 68-70.A special thanks to everyone who has served or is serving now. Also remember our WWII Vets, Thay are passing at a rate of 1,000 per day. If you have any relatives who are WWII vets, Talk to them, Thank them for their service. And get them to talk about the war. So many stories of heroism and sacrifice will go un told as they pass. We all need to know what they experienced.

Also say thanks and welcome home to our current vets. Too many of us Viet-Nam vets never got a welcome home, When I came home from Nam I was in LAX Airport on my way home and someone actually spat at me. I don't need to tell you what happened next.

God bless all out veterans.

I'll second that about WW11 Vets. My Dad was one and has sinced passed away, I really wish I had spent more time with him when I had the opportunity. WW11 Vets are dying at the rate of over 1000 per week. To see a special tribute to them, go to : http://www.managedmusic.com/beforeyougo.html and click on Before You Go.
