I guess it's time for a stupid question. I know that bear claw latches come in various sizes obviously due to the fact that different applications require different size latches. My question is what is the difference between the bear claws that are rotary type and dual rotary type? Also, some latches have one arm on which to hook up the operating mechanism and some have two arms. Why?

Thanks

Rotray type has no saftey latch. and dual rotray just like your daliy driver has a safety latch. You can shut the door but might not me shut all the way. The you have to shut it harder to shut all the way. (thats the dual rotray latch.)

The once that have one two arms are for: 1 for your door handle and the other could be used for remotes, the other handle (like the outside if your using the inside also.

Hope that make's since
