It's only a minor victory! But it is a victory! The tranny is done. It's a start! LOL

So when are you taking it to the chrome shop???? Just joking, it looks pretty good, and any victory is better than a set-back!

You're thinking the right way...one step at a time. Before you know it, you'll be hitting the starter switch!

It does have a big chrome pan on it now (it's so shiny you can hardly see it.) I may put a billet dispstick on it. It only took me about 4 times of pressure washing it to get it looking decent! Soon, I will post pics of my beautiful "stamped" Mustang II A-arms. I know that will make Jim happy ROFL. Spent the day hammering the bushings out of them, sanding and painting them! Working on the tilt steering column I have from a Trans Am now... lots of little victories!

progress is always accumulative. Just keep scratching things off the work list and it will keep moving forward! Next thing ya know it'll be done.

I had a nice powder coated power glide tranny I won back in my racing days. I still want to do that again because it sure looked nice.

I saw some neat pics where they matched the tranny color to the engine.. looked sharp. But actually the casting on this case was very rough. I would need a lot of work to make look good.
