I've just checked my Streetrodding email Inbox for the first time, and WOW!!!! 1263 messages. All but about 10 are JUNK!


I have no idea how to empty the junk - NEED HELP!

i'm going through the db now and deleting all the junk i can find. just keep in mind
  • as hard as we try to keep these guys out, they try just as hard to get through to you
  • they aren't getting to your email address

They may not be getting my email address, but every so often a bunch of that same junk gets forwarded to it from Streetrodding. I haven't received any lately, but I've probably delieted a few hundred from my personal email in last few months.

i put in some more filters to try and help, i also deleted a ton of spam and scam emails i found in your inboxes. if you guys could help by giving me some keywords that you see in these emails which definitely mean a scam then let me know. i've been able to identify a bunch of easy ones like 'viagra', 'drugs' and 'certified'. i couldn't find any emails in the database which contained these keywords that weren't scams or spam email. can you think of any others?

The ones I have been getting have male body parts names or say enhancement. I don't even have anything to enhance! LOL

How about these: casodex, pills, tablets, prescription, pharmacy, bicaludamide, generic, cialis, augmentin, amoxicillin, medication, dosage, loan, mortgage

I still have 708 messages after you cleaned it up, and a majority of them say viagra.

Wow !! Thanks for the relief, Eriq!! Still got a ways to go. I had about 750 spam mails in my email folder and had asked Eriq on two different occasions if he could either provide us a way to erase the junk eitehr all at once or page at a time. I see Eriq did get reid of about 300 spams leaving only abut 410 left to go. The last one I recieved was 7/22/07, so hopefully, who ever was sending them, gave up on me. Since I rarely use this feature I don't care if the junk is there, but I know it is taking up valuable space on the SR server, so it should go asap.


Eriq, the hell with key words, I have abut 20 legitimate emails in my folder from about 3 years ago, so feel free to erase all items in the folder. I don't need any of them.
