The frame is coming together for the 37! Here are some pictures of the painted frame going back together. The pictures don't do justice to Leon's paint job on it. I was at a car show recently and saw many cars that didn't have paint as nice as this frame does. Kudos on Leon's work.

Leon, you were right about that red. That frame color is going to make that red pop even more when the parts are next to each other. If you can post the paint code for the red I'd be greatful.

Wait...wait, how much is that worth Mike.....haha. Leon, no doubt the picture of the calipers and the rotor is the most accurate depiction of the color. Major deep red. They look great. So does the manifold that I was going to leave plain. Red now and looks great. Probably was a better idea. Is there paint on the valve covers? The rear end looks like glass. Major good work guy. See you soon.

Mike, I would be glad to but I really don't give out paint codes on customers cars until thier finish. especially if I know that it will be going to a lot of rod runs and car shows. Mark will be reading this so if he would like to give out the color that would be his call.

I hope you understand that with some projects theres lots of people out there looking for color schemes and keeping things like that under wraps helps make the car have a more fresh apperance when it hits the road.

I wouldn't mess with all the trouble of boxing on a 35-40 Frame, For the money your much better off buying a new frame from Fatmans.

I know cost may come into play but Honestly, You end up with a much better finished result, Its much faster, and way less headache,

I have to agree with Leon. By the time you box the frame, put in the front crossmember, change the mounts, etc, you will have plenty of money in a frame that was designed for an 85HP motor. The difference in metal thickness between the frame and boxing plates makes for challenging welds which I can attest will crack eventually if not perfect and maybe even then. You can get the Fat Man Frame for $3300.00 I believe and if you watch for a show special it might be a little less. Check with Yogi's. As for faster, get a rolling chassis from Fatman and propel forward in time!
