There was some discussion early this year about Indiana possibly going to let us use year of manufacture plates on antique cars but nothing pertaining to street rods, anyone out there with any current information, tried e-mailing BMV and no luck.

Hey Steve,Here is a web site about that;www.oldinplates.com and an e-mail address(jrwheels@michianacruisers.com) who is selling plates and or has answers for alot ? I did ask him if the plate is suppose to stay the same color as original .He said it supposed stay the same. The new law is effective2008 .The new law(HE1150) allows you to use anOld Indiana License Plate the same year as your vehicle. Dan
