guy's and gal's i know we have touched base on this subject many time's before but please remind me again. my new ride is a 39 ford coupe with a 302 ford aluminium heads and the spect sheet says 340 hp with a msd dist and box . my question is it has a 670 holley street avenger carb on it (new) and electric choke . i like edelbrocks or as some call them edelbroke .anyway's i know shine knows the secret to the tuneing of holley's or should i get a smaller carb. the previous owner claims when it had edelbrock on it when heavy acceleration it would fall on it's face . it still does slightly . problem is my eye's water bad at idle hot or cold some help i would thank you bob in ny

Maybe we should change his name from Shine to Holley... is that too feminine buddy?

holley is the only way to get below 500. my favorite is the 450 holley. you can really do a lot of tuning on a sbc. you can really turn the wick up if you know what i mean. my brides 54 pu will have a 302 in it and will be built and tuned for millage. will run a 2 barrel on it.
