Anyone have any experience with the ECI Brake Pressure Multiplier? Is it worth the investment?

I,ve havn't tried one but I just read ECIs discription on it, It gets back to the basics of hydrolics. They say you will need to increase the pedal travel and they also add that its designed to be used with systems that use less Caliper volume.
Being I've never used one I can only offer an opinion, At the cost of 150.00 I don't see any advantage, Most Streetrod pedal assys are setup to allow plenty of pedal pressure with maximum travel in the plunger, Over the years I have never seen a situation other than insuffeciant booster that would warrant the use of the pressure multiplier. If you have any questions I can add a lot more technical input on this, but if you looking to use it to cure a problem, lets hear what that is and Im sure someone can help you figure it out.
Thanks Leon for the response. Have a 4wdb setup and it seems that the first few inches of pedal travel doesn't do much to engage the booster. After the first few inches the brakes engage as they should. Just thought the booster might increase the pedal pressure at the top more than it does now,

like leon i see no real use for it. maybe for floor mounted m/c. most swing pedals have the pin approx 2 to 3 in from pivot point where the floor pedal is more like 1 to 1 1/2 inches from pivot point. one reason i do not use floor mount. this is why the floor mount has so much travel at top. eci is a very good company. i use a lot of their stuff but most of what i build has an s10 pedal assembly / booster/master cylinder on the firewall.
